Thousand Faces Consulting
Let the Journey begin
Whether you know it or not, you’re living an adventure. You’re battling hunger, you’re empowering young leaders, you’re rescuing animals, you’re healing harm, you’re building a better world.
And you need help.
Your donors, believe it or not, long for an adventure. There are dragons to be slain, and donors are dying to be a part of it.
They need an invitation.
Thousand Faces Consulting exists to equip you and your donors for the quest.
Come, let us journey together
A well-told story...
let's give your story power
It’s dangerous
to go alone
Your board yearns to be of use.
Give them the tools they need:
Capital campaigns
Donors give transformational gifts to campaigns
like heroes give their lives to slay dragons.
Tell them a story where they get to be the hero.
Give them a dragon to slay
About
the name
The stories we tell about ourselves and our organizations define us. It’s our story that engages
our donors, customers, and stakeholders. Indeed...
If we TELL a good story, we can LIVE a good story.
Good stories have heroes and villains, foes and allies, problems to solve and battles to fight. We love stories where a hero journeys across a threshold into a new world in search of a gift. A villain tries to stop the hero, guides and allies lend their aid.
You may have heard of this “hero’s journey” before. Luke Skywalker wants to become a pilot and fight the empire, Dorothy wants to find the Wizard so she can go home, Odysseus wants to get to Ithaca.
So what?
When Joseph Campbell wrote “A Hero of a Thousand Faces,” he identified a framework that Hollywood and storytellers worldwide use to tell compelling stories that have resonated for thousands of years.
You can use this framework, too. In your marketing and communication, yes, and also to
build and refine a fundraising program that brings in more money.
Thousand Faces Consulting will walk alongside you as you refine your story and begin to live as if you’re on a quest as important as Frodo’s.
Because you are.
